Lexus Stills
Lexus requested a large series of images they could use for calenders and to use throughout the year for their new line of cars. I was given the alps plates because I was the only one in the office who had been there, even though I had only taken the train through the mountains.
So for each shot, first I lined up a camera and perspective grid to the photo of the environment, then dropped the car in place. Created all the shaders and textures, and lit it to fit the lighting direction in the photo. Then took it into photoshop to retouch the final image and further integrate the cg into the photo. The first one was a bright sunny day, but I had some extra time, and decided to make it rainy.
