I am a dedicated self taught artist with a passion for visual effects and eye candy. My desire is to work for some of the largest and most prestigious VFX houses in the industry for film, tv, and video games. I am a cg lighter, compositor, technical director, look developer, and maker of pretty things. 

​I spend most of my time in Maya and VRay, but I  learned everything during my days in the mental ray render circuit. I know some Nuke, enough to do some damage, but I tend to stick to After Effects because I'm quicker at making the magic there. 

I've had a fair hand at modeling, after all we all had to start there in the beginning to make things which could be animated, lit, or shaded. If you need some hard surface stuff, I'm game. If you need some super extremo alien human hybrid wearing giant biomechanical armor... well, I'm going to be honest, I kinda suck at that. But if you need it shaded and lit, aha then look no further!

​I've also been known to do some matte painting, and I like to create environmental concept digital paintings in Painter, Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro.

And if you say, "Hey I need some particles n stuff", sure, I got that too. I dabble here and there, I think it keeps my mind fresh to learn something new as often as possible. ​

My favorite genres are Sci-Fi and Fantasy, but most of my professional experience has been in photorealism. I have a weathered eye for detail, color, and light, and can apply real world theories to any 3d imaginative creation. I have been working hard lately to increase my knowledge in digital painting and concept art, I love it all!
