Destiny - House of Wolves Cinematic Trailer

This was an incredible experience for me! At Prologue, we completed 5 unique trailers for Bungie and Activisions new games, Destiny. My role mainly consisted of lighting and shader development. This was a funny one, because we actually started in the begging of the year, worked on it for a few months, then had to shift gears to complete some of the other destiny trailers, and came back to this one towards the end of the year. During that time, our staff had shifted around a lot, and I became lead lighter for the remainder of this project, which ran or another 3 months or so.

Specifically, I created the snowy ground in the first shot with tons if instanced geometry and some tricky glassy shaders. I also worked heavily on all the outdoor snowy scenes building geometry, displacement maps, shaders and lighting the scene and characters. The outdoor shots were generally my shots. I helped out some in the interior with render passes, a little lighting adjustments, shader tweaks to detailed things. It was a beast of a shot, with all those closeups, high detailed geometry and textures. It was incredibly fun!
